The Alabama Constitution Village is an open air museum located in Huntsville, Alabama. It is a historical museum that takes visitors back to the year 1819. It shows the life back in that year, allowing folks to get in touch with even just a tiny bit of history.

The Alabama Constitution Village chose the year 1819 since it was the year when Alabama was organized into a state by 44 delegates of the constitutional convention. The site depicts the life back in the early days of the state, which is just a great way to really learn about history n an almost first hand manner.

The Alabama Constitution Village features the structures where the historic event took place about two centuries ago. The main highlight is the cabinet shop where the meeting was held, and its neighboring structures which include the John Boardman?s print shop, the Federal Land Surveyor?s Office, and the sheriff Stephen Neal?s residence just to name a few.
