This is why it isn?t surprising that the locals took initiative in establishing the Alabama Music Hall of Fame to further showcase the different individuals from the state who managed to make an impact in the music industry. Established in 1990, the venue is now one of the most well known music spots in the entire state.

The Alabama Music Hall of Fame was originally just a dream of the group known as the Muscle Shoals Music Association. The organization is formed by recording studio owners, musicians, and producers in the Shoals area. They wanted a facility where talent could be showcased, so they pushed for the realization of the venue.

Today, the Alabama Music Hall of Fame still continues to honor the individuals that contribute to the greatness of the music industry.
