The Arab Historic Village is an exhibit of the history of the city of Arab, Alabama. It is located inside the Arab City Park, built through the initiative of the Arab Historical Society with the help of the city government.
The Arab Historic Village is basically a tribute to the pioneer-spirited people who helped build the area into what it is today. The development started in 1991 in celebration of the Historical Society?s Centennial project. It features a series of buildings, including a 1935 Old Hunt School, a country store, grist mill, club demonstration home, and a blacksmith shop. A museum is also available on the site.
