The Auburn University Chapel is a historic building in Auburn, Alabama, located inside the campus of Auburn University. It is the oldest building of the said educational institution, being built in 1851.

The Auburn University Chapel was initially built as a Presbyterian church. It also served as a Confederate hospital during the Civil War, and then transformed into a classroom building for the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical College when the school?s main building burned down in 1887.

The Auburn University only acquired the building in 1921. It served as a YMCA/YWCA center initially, and then as the auburn Players Theatre from 1927 to 1973. It then became the Auburn University Chapel after the troupe moved to another facility in the campus and the building got renovated.
