The Baldwin County Strawberry Festival is a local festival in Loxley, Alabama. It features the area?s strawberries and strawberry shortcake among other things.

The Baldwin County Strawberry Festival started 22 years ago, after the Loxley Elementary School and the Association of Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County banded and gave birth to a celebration that will feature the local features of the area. Today, the festivity include a number of excellent events, like children?s games, antique auto shows, food, carnival, educational exhibits, live music, and the Little Miss Strawberry pageant. It is also a great way to feature the excellent strawberry shortcake recipe of the region.

The Baldwin County Strawberry Festival is also a fundraising event for the Association of Retarded Citizens of Baldwin County. It usually takes place around the month of May.
