The Blount Cultural Park is best known for its open space. It is a regular host for various outdoor concerts and events like performances by the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra and the Montgomery Ballet. It is also the home to the Shakespeare Garden, venue of the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, and is one of the seven major gardens of such in all of the US. It is also the home of the state?s oldest fine arts museum, the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art.
