The Blue Springs State Park is a state park and recreation area in Clio, Alabama. It is one of the smaller units in the Alabama state parks system with only 103 acres of area.
Established in 1963 after the land was bought by the state from JD McLaughlin, the Blue Springs State Park is mostly a swimming destination. It features a spring pool that is fed by a crystal-clear underground spring. It maintains a 68-degree temperature all year round, making it a perfect destination during the hot summer months. The site is also equipped with picnic tables and grills, located near the pool (on first-come, first serve availability). Pavilions are also available by reservation for large groups and gatherings. Primitive and modern campgrounds and a playground are also present in the site.
