The Bridge Crossing Jubilee is an annual event in Alabama organized by the National Voting Rights Museum & Institute with the Wallace Community College Selma, 21st Century Youth Leadership Movement, the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, and the City of Selma. The event commemorates the triumph of the Civil Rights Movement and the entire African American community against segregation.

The Bridge Crossing Jubilee looks back to the tumultuous time when the Black community still needed to struggle for equal rights. The event remembers the historic events that helped today?s generation to enjoy their rights and freedom. These events include the ?Bloody Sunday?, the Selma to Montgomery March, and the passing of the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

The Bridge Crossing Jubilee takes place every March.
