The Cheaha State Park is a state park and recreation area in Delta, Alabama. It is best known for being the home of Alabama?s highest point, Cheaha Mountain.

Established in 1933, the Cheaha State Park contains the works of the Civilian Conservation Corps, most of which are now deemed as historic structures. These buildings also add charm to the beautiful site, attracting more people to the venue.

Today, visitors of the Cheaha State Park can enjoy camping, picnicking, fishing, hunting, and hiking. There?s also the Cheaha Lodge with 30 hotel rooms and a swimming pool, as well as the Bald Rock Group Lodge available to the public. The latter is more commonly used for events like weddings and conferences. Folks can also visit the highest peak in the state with the aid of the Bunker Tower located at the top of the Cheaha Mountain.
