A unique community means that offers interactive exhibits, programs and activities designed generally to the advancing stages and needs of our children the Children's Museum of the Shoals Inc. strives to further provide education and compliment existing cultural and educational resources.
The museum offers children the opportunity to play and experience the joy of being taught in a safe, enhanced and animated environment. The museum also gives academic improvement for the state and national educational program standards in the field of science, environmental education, the arts, history and culture.

The exhibits, programs and activities offered in the museum promote children to imagine, make choices, and create and to get to learn the world in different ways that will help them widen their awareness and promote science and cultural literacy.

The Children's Museum of the Shoals Inc. is open to visitors on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:00am, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays from 10am until 4:30pm and field trips and special tours are available upon requests. Admissions to the museum are affordable and groups of 15 or more can get discounted rates.
