The Choctaw County Historical Museum is a museum of history in Gilbertown, Alabama. Like many county museums, it looks back to the development and the changes that the county has achieved through the years, ever since their early days.

The primary displays at the Choctaw County Historical Museum include a large amount of fossils dating back to the pre-historic days of the area, a number of Civil War memorabilia, mostly guns and rifles used during the war, Native American artifacts in honor of the original settlers of the area, farming implements, a spinning wheel, and military uniforms. There?s also an Old Country Store right beside the main building, allowing visitors to experience how it is like to shop during the turn of the century.
