The DeSoto Caverns Park is a fun family attraction found at the hill of the Appalachian Mountains in Childersburg, Alabama. It is famous for the vast DeSoto cave that is used to be known to locals as ?Kymulga Cave?. The core of the caverns is 120 feet high and bigger than a football field. It is also distinguished for having the world?s biggest ongoing growth of onyx and marble speleothems.

The 1 hour tour of the cave includes walking inside the main room, viewing the unique rock formations and watching the Sound, Light and Water Show that depicts creation and the cave?s history. Aside from this, there are other activities the whole family can enjoy. This includes park rides, wall climbing, gemstone panning, and water gun games at the Lost Trail Maze.
