The Garden District is a historic area in Montgomery, Alabama. It is a US Historic District composed of 678 contributing buildings of various architectural designs, with the most notable ones in the Queen Anne, American Craftsman, and the Classical Revival styles. An additional 81 non contributing buildings can also be found on the site.

The Garden District began as the Victorian Bellinger Heights community. It got its name from the beautiful wide lawns and tree lined streets that fill the neighborhood. It covers up to 315 acres worth of land and became the neighborhood of some of the early business leaders of the city of Montgomery.

The Garden District was also added to the National register of Historic Places in September 1984.
