The Glencairn is a historic house located in Greensboro, Alabama. It is also known as the John Erwin House.

Built in 1835, the Glencairn was built by John Erwin, a prominent lawyer, Democratic politician, and slave owner. He was a Virginia native who relocated in 1821 to Alabama. He served as the representative of Greene County to the Alabama Senate in 1831 and then became the president pro tempore the following year. He also served in the Alabama lower house from the late 1830s to early 1840s, followed by an attempt to enter the Congress in the late 1840s, which he failed at doing so. He also participated in the secession movement and helped form the Confederate States of America.

The Glencairn was his residence from its completion to his death in 1860.
