The Gorgas-Manly Historic District is a historic area in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, inside the University of Alabama campus. It is composed of 12 acres of land with eight buildings.
The eight structures of the Gorgas-Manly Historic District date back to the 19th century, making them representatives of the university?s development during that era. It includes the Gorgas House, Little Round House, Woods Hall, Clark Hall, Manly Hall, Garland Hall, Tuomey Hall, and the Barnard Hall. The Gorgas Home and the Little Round House are among the seven structures on the site that escaped the Union troops? burning spree during the Civil War.
The Gorgas-Manly Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971 as a historic district.
