Also known as the Guntersville Museum and Cultural Center, the Guntersville Museum is a museum that talks about the local history of its location, Guntersville, Alabama, with a special focus on Lake Guntersville. It showcases the region with all its historical and cultural vantage points.

The Guntersville Museum is housed in the historic Armory built in 1936 for the Company E, 167th Infantry Division. The building is actually a very beautiful, modern structure made with local rough limestone, giving it a natural look and feel. The location of the building is exquisite as well, right on a tree-covered hilltop, neighboring the city Library.

The Guntersville Museum is open on Tuesdays through Sundays on varying opening times. They usually close at 4 pm, though.
