The Lee County Historical Society hosts an annual Historical Fair within their office grounds every October. This event is an exciting event for locals, visitors, and especially, history buffs, as the colorful past of the area is celebrated through a series of events, food, and festivities.

The great thing about the Historical Fair is that it is also very informative and educational. It features activities like demonstrations for weaving and cloth-making, soap making, bread making, period pottery, and other old time crafts. It also gives folks a great chance to tour the Lee County Historical Society Museum, since the event is usually held in the very complex.

Camping and RV parking are also available during the Historical Fair. Just make sure to make reservations in advance by calling the fair organizing committee.
