The Holmes Medical Museum is a museum in Foley, Alabama, dedicated to the interesting history of the Baldwin County?s first hospital, which operated from 1936 to 1958. It is housed in the very building of the old hospital, allowing visitors to step back in time and see how it?s like to get treated and hospitalized almost a century ago.

The Holmes Medical Museum features a wide array of historical displays, most of which has a lot to do with the hospital?s operation back in the day. It features that actual operating room of the hospital, as well as a couple of patient rooms and X-ray. Medical quackery devices are also on display and there?s a reproduction pharmacy as well.

The Holmes Medical Museum is open on weekdays from 10 am to 4 pm.
