Also known as the Tannehill Museum is the Iron & Steel Museum of Alabama in McCalla, Alabama. It is an industrial museum focused on the history of iron making technology in the 19th century.

Opened in 1981, the Iron & Steel Museum of Alabama features the Tannehill Ironworks, especially since it is a part of the Tannehill Ironworks Historical State Park. It tells of the Roupes Valley Ironworks at Tannehill, which operated during the Civil War. It shows belt driven machinery, tools, and products of the 1800s. Most of its exhibits also tell of the area’s participation during the Civil War, being the producer of the Confederate Army’s iron supply.

The Iron & Steel Museum of Alabama is open all year round from Mondays through Sundays in varying opening times.
