The J. L. M. Curry House is a historic house in Talladega, Alabama noted for its connection with Jabez Lamar Monroe Curry. J. L. M. Curry is a noted individual in the South for his contributions in the improvement of the public school system, as well as the establishment of schools that could train teachers in the region.

Declared as a National Historic Landmark in December 1965, the J. L. M. Curry House is a simple single dwelling building. It was designed in the Greek Revival style and was completed in 1850. There?s not a lot about its architecture since it is mostly noted for being the home of the man who staunchly advocated free universal education. This allowed him to be immortalized in US history as the man who ?did more than any other man? to help improve the local public education system.
