The John Looney House Pioneer Museum is a museum in Ashville, Alabama. It is a pioneer museum, chronicling the early days of the area.

And what better way is there to celebrate a locale?s early beginnings other than through the oldest structure of existence in the area, right? This is why the John Looney House Pioneer Museum is housed in the John Looney House, an 1822 two-story dogtrot house, which is believed to be the oldest of its sort in all of the state of Alabama.

The John Looney House Pioneer Museum was opened in 2009 by the St. Clair Historical Society. It is open to the public every weekend on varying opening and closing times. It is also open by appointment.
