The John W. Inzer Museum is a historic house museum in Ashville, Alabama. It features the house of Lt. Col. John W. Inzer, an officer of the Confederate Army during the Civil War. John W. Inzer was a real patriot and a dedicated soldier, that even if he wasn?t fully supportive of the secession, he still dedicated his life in service of his home county and state. He served the Confederate Army and as the youngest member of the Alabama Secession Convention of 1861.

The John W. Inzer Museum was established by the 308 Sons of Confederate Veterans as a way of remembering the hard times, and how the war pitted brother against brother, but still led to unification in the end. It features valuable documents and articles of Inzer, as well as numerous original furnishings.
