The Jordan-Hare Stadium is a sports and entertainment venue in Auburn, Alabama. It is located inside the Auburn University and is home to the school?s football team.

With a seating capacity of 87,451, the Jordan-Hare Stadium is actually the 12th largest stadium in the NCAA. It is noted to be one of the most intimidating places to play and has one of the best gameday atmospheres.

The Jordan-Hare Stadium traces its history back to 1939 with the 7290-seater Auburn Stadium. It was then renamed to Cliff Hare Stadium in 1949 when it was expanded to accommodate up to 21.5000 visitors. The latest renovation brought in major changes and enlargements, which also led to the site?s renaming. The site actually got its name after Ralph ?Shug? Jordan, a former coach of the school who led the team to the most wins.
