Established in 2003, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is an art museum located inside the campus of Auburn University. It is the only university art museum in the entire state of Alabama.

The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is named after Jule Collins Smith, a wife of the Auburn University Alumnus, Albert Smith, who donated $3 million to the project of building an art museum of such. He sponsored the venture as a gift to his wife, in celebration of their 50th wedding anniversary.

The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art features a series of art displays and exhibits packed in the building’s six exhibition galleries. The site also has a café and auditorium as well as an expansive lake.
