The Kathryn Tucker Windham Museum is a biographical museum in Thomasville, Alabama. It is dedicated to Kathryn Tucker Windham, dubbed as Alabama’s storyteller, in honor of her efforts in the recording and preserving of Alabama’s history and folklore.

Windham is a Thomasville native, making it an honor and task of the city to erect such a fitting memorial to her honor. The Kathryn Tucker Windham Museum was established in 2003 to preserve her legacy as a storyteller, journalist, and photography. The museum features Windham’s life, mostly. On display are memorabilia and photographs that she took, one of which dates back to when she was 12 and was the earliest photos she took. There’s also a sculpture of Ms. Windham made by the Alabama folk artist, Charlie Lucas.
