The King Caldwell Park is a local city park in Scottsboro, Alabama. It is best known for being the home of several events and festivals that are celebrated in the city like the Art Sunday.

Located next to the city library, the King Caldwell Park is also a tribute to one of Scottsboro?s most noted natives, David King Caldwell. Most commonly known as ?King Caldwell?, Caldwell moved to Tyler, Texas where he became an oil tycoon. There, he also established the Caldwell Zoo. Despite all of this, though, he still kept in touch with his roots and continued to do philanthropic deeds towards the city. He provided scholarships and supported other local causes financially. As a way of saying thanks, the park was named after him.
