The Margaret Booth School for Girls is a former school in Montgomery, Alabama that used to occupy the historic Sayre Street School, a historic building in the city. The school is best known for providing education for young girls that is equivalent to the standards of the college preparatory schools that were once restricted only for boys.

The Margaret Booth School for Girls was established by Margaret Booth, a prominent intellectual and cultural mentor in the Montgomery area for about 40 years. She was the first Alabama native to be admitted at the Mt. Holyoke College of Massachusetts. She also founded the Demopolis Public Library.

The Margaret Booth School for Girls produced a good number of students that has proven themselves worthy. Some institutions even certified the school for admission of graduates even without taking the College Boards.
The building, known as the Sayre Street School is currently in use for offices.
