Also known as the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center or MSFC, the Marshall Space Flight Center is a civilian rocketry and spacecraft propulsion research center operated by the US Government. It is also the largest NASA center in the country.

Established in July 1960, the Marshall Space Flight Center is notable for being the very place where tons of scientific breakthroughs have been achieved and completed. For one, this is where the Saturn launch vehicles were developed. It is continuously involved in other major projects as well.

The Marshall Space Flight Center is open to visitors. They have the US Space & Rocket Center where there are exhibits showing unique historic artifacts that tell of the center?s participation in NASA?s operation.
