The Mobile Botanical Gardens is a botanical garden and living museum in Mobile, Alabama. It was founded in 1974 and located next to Langan Park.
The Mobile Botanical Gardens is a 100-acres site in Mobile that is filled with several cultivated gardens, a long leaf forest, and some woodland trails. It is home to several varieties of plants, described as a diversified habitat of 49 vascular plant families, 72 woody species, 159 vascular plant species, and 21 naturalized species. The most famous in the gardens, however, are the native azaleas. When these plants are in bloom, the garden just really comes to life with such great beauty.
The Mobile Botanical Gardens is open year round during the day time. It charges no admission fees to its visitors.
