The Noccalula Falls Park is a public park in Gadsden, Alabama. It covers 250 acres worth of land and features the Noccalula Falls as its centerpiece.

The Noccalula Falls is a majestic waterfall measuring 90 feet tall. Aside from this excellent natural feature, the Noccalula Falls Park also offers access to an abandoned dam, a pioneer stead, an aboriginal fort, and a site filled with Civil War carvings. There is also a mini-golf course, a petting zoo, a replica of the 1863 CP Huntington train, and a historic covered bridge on the site.

The Noccalula Falls Park is also surrounded by legend, as some believe that the site is named after a Cherokee princess, named princess Noccalula, who committed suicide by jumping down the falls after her father ordered her to marry someone she didn’t love. A statue was erected in her honor in the site.
