The Old Ship African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church is a historic black church in Montgomery, Alabama. It is touted as the oldest African American church congregation in the city, being established in 1852.

The Old Ship African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church has an interesting history to tell. Organized by the Court Street Methodist Church, the original congregation also donated their old wood frame building to the new church. The resourceful African American parishioners then moved the building to its current location in 1852. During the move, they came up with the name, Old Ship of Zion.

The current building is already the remodeled version of the original one. The work was done in 1888 and in 1918. It was then added to the National Register of Historic Places and the Alabama Register of Landmarks and Heritage.
