The Paul M. Grist State Park has a 100 acre lake teeming with fishes including bass, bluegill, catfish and red ear sunfish. Gasoline motored boats are a no-no in this area. Only electric motors are allowed in the lake. Jon ? boats can be rented and for privately owned boats, a ramp is provided for their launching. It is not permitted for boats to approach the swimming area.

There are camping grounds located in this state park. The camping grounds have toilets, water and electrical hook-ups. There is a bath house that is cleaned on a daily basis.
Campsites patterned on the primitive era are also available.

There is a picnic area. It consists of facilities like a picnic pavilion, picnic tables, swimming area, boat and oars for hire, playing fields and adequate shoreline to be used by the fishers.

The park office offers basic needs like fishing supplies such as tackles and baits, plus drinks and refreshments. For the boaters, it is required that a person must be at least 16 years old to be able to rent a boat. Every boater has to wear a life jacket.
