The Pettus Museum is a museum in Killen, Alabama. It was started by a collector, Ronald Pettus, who has always been a great collector of memorabilia and artifacts.

Mostly a historical museum, the Pettus Museum was born out of Mr. Pettus’ initiative. Everything on display is from his personal collection, which varies largely in value and field of interest. The site’s primary focus is the local history of the North Alabama area, but visitors can also find other items and artifacts that are from other parts of the world. The exhibits vary from military items to Jurassic period fossils and artifacts.

The Pettus Museum is open every Thursdays through Sundays on varying schedules. The management advises interested parties to call first, especially if you’re planning a visit on a Sunday.
