The Reynolds Historical Library is a historical library located in Birmingham, Alabama, inside the University of Alabama in Birmingham?s campus. It is a part of the Alabama Museum of the Health Sciences? display, showcasing a collection of titles that are related to the health field.

The Reynolds Historical Library is best known for being the number one source of rare books and manuscripts that are about the history of medicine and science. They have titles that date back to the medieval era, the oldest are known to have been from the 14th century. The library was named after Dr. Lawrence Reynolds, the man who formed the original collection.

From Dr. Lawrence Reynolds? initial collection of 5,000 volumes, the Reynolds Historical Library now has over 13,000 books, most of which are very rare, under its care.
