The Rikard?s Mill Annual Reopening involves the ceremonial event when the mill is run to turn grits and meal, just like it did in the second half of the 1800s. During this event, visitors can see how the structure operated and step back in time just as if they are in the 19th century. Along with the operation of the mill is live music, arts and crafts, great food, and some blacksmithing demonstrations.
