The Rikard?s Mill Historic Park is a historic location in Beatrice, Alabama. It is best described as a site where visitors can learn more about the Pioneer life in Alabama, being a place that was established back in 1845, during the early development days of the Monroe County.

The Rikard?s Mill Historic Park is one of the two remaining grist mills in the state. It was restored into full working condition, making it now a popular tourist attraction in Monroe County. Like many mills in the 1800s, it was water powered, and so it was restored in that way before the park reopened in 2009.

Today, visitors can enjoy a series of activities while at the Rikard?s Mill Historic Park. Folks can go hiking, picnicking, and even barbeque on the site. Of course, guests can also watch the mill ground corn into cornmeal and grits, aside from many other activities that are designed to help preserve old folk traditions.
