The Rocky Hill Castle is a historic plantation home in Courtland, Alabama. It is also known simply as Rocky Hill. The plantation was established around the mid 1820s, while the house was built around the late 1850s, from 1858 to 1861.

The Rocky Hill plantation was created by James Edmonds Saunders. The Rocky Hill Castle was Saunders? way of making a dream of owning a grand house. However, the Civil War broke out even before the mansion was fully completed. It was used by Confederates as a hospital during the war, and its family cemetery also saw burials of several soldiers.
