The Saturn V Dynamic Test Stand is a historic steel frame structure in the Marshall Space Flight Center. It may seem just like an unfinished building to those who have no background about the site and the structure itself, but it is actually a very historically significant item in the area.

Built in 1964, the Saturn V Dynamic Test Stand was mostly made to be the platform for conducting mechanical and vibrational tests on the completed Saturn V rocket. These tests were necessary to know whether the rocket will be able to survive the launch, and so errors could be dealt with immediately.

The Saturn V Dynamic Test Stand was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1985 and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the same day as well.
