The Searcy Hospital is a historic site in Mount Vernon, Alabama. It was established in the year 1900 by the Alabama Legislature as a mental health facility. It was built so the Bryce Hospital of Tuscaloosa can be relieved from the amount of patients it has been handling at the time.

Initially named as the Mount Vernon Hospital, the Searcy Hospital opened in 1902. It was renamed in 1919 with its current name, in honor of its first superintendent, Dr. J. T. Searcy. It was once exclusive to service African Americans until 1969 when it was desegregated.

The Searcy Hospital is composed of 25 buildings, nine of which dates back to the 1830s. It is now a part of the Mount Vernon Arsenal-Searcy Hospital Complex.
