The Selma-To-Montgomery March is an event that is held every March on the very first weekend of the said month. It has marchers following a route that measures 54 miles in distance right to the Montgomery National Historical Trail. This is the very trail which was taken by the marchers who fought for their voting rights way back in the 1960s.

This event remembers to give proper tribute to the right to vote and to also remember the very historical Bloody Sunday when about 600 civil rights marchers were all attacked by the police coming from the state and local stations. It also has the National Voting Rights Museum & Institute that serves as host to the grouping of its annual visitors that amount to about 50,000.
