The Shaver House is a historic house in Huntsville, Alabama. It was originally owned by Helen Rublee Shaver who returned to Huntsville in 1916 after her husband, Charles Edwin Shaver, died. She built a Craftsman style bungalow in a lot she acquired in Locust Avenue.

The Shaver House has been the home of three generations of Shavers. It is currently owned by Helen’s granddaughter, Susie Shaver Harper and her husband Tommy, who acquired the house in 2005. They restored and renovated the house to its original look.

Today, the Shaver House is a part of the Twickenham Historic District. Folks can take a peek at this historic home in the 2011 tour of the annual Huntsville historic house tour hosted by the Huntsville Pilgrimage Association.
