The Southern Museum of Flight is a museum in Birmingham, Alabama. It is dedicated to the field of aviation, and is conveniently located a couple of blocks away from the Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. It was established in 1966.

The Southern Museum of Flight features displays that span the history of aviation all throughout the 20th century. Artifacts like the Red Baron, ?Flying Tigers?, and the Tuskegee Airmen are just some of the items that can be found here. It also tells the tales of the stories of numerous aviation pioneers.

They also have simulators for military, RC, and antique aircrafts.

The Southern Museum of Flight is open every Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Admission fees apply.
