The Spring Fling is an annual festivity in Lowndesboro, Alabama. It is actually more of a historic celebration of the area, as folks are encouraged to stroll down the historic antebellum town while enjoying the following series of events:

1. Barbeque chicken plate lunch at the Marengo Plantation restaurant. Plates are available for $10 each.
2. Antiques and Collectibles Sale at the CME Church. Here, folks can purchase prints, paintings, china, silver, furniture, and glass items among many others.
3. A Country Store sale will be opened in the St. Paul?s Episcopal Church Parish House. Homemade goods will be made available for sale.
4. 19th century churches will be opened for viewing.
The Spring Fling event is commonly held around the month of March.
