Swann Covered Bridge was built in 1933 and is the longest surviving covered bridge in Alabama. It was built by Forrest and Zelmer C. Tidwell to connect the communities of Cleveland and Joy. It was recently renovated and opened back up to traffic on October 22, 2012.
