Founded in 1979, the Thomas E. McMillan Museum has always been a trusty historical museum in Brewton, Alabama, inside the campus of the Jefferson Davis Community College. The site is filled with a wide array of artifacts and memorabilia that tells of a certain period, event, or has some sort of connection to the state of Alabama.

The Thomas E. McMillan Museum illustrates the colorful past of the region through its archaeological, historical, and cultural artifacts and memorabilias. They display various items that tell of the different historical periods, from the Native Americans to the colonial era.

The Thomas E. McMillan Museum is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 9 am to 3 pm. Other days and times are open by appointment.
