The University of Alabama Arboretum is an arboretum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. It is a botanical garden featuring Alabama?s native flora and fauna.

The University of Alabama Arboretum is supported by the university?s Department of Biological Sciences. The department maintains several plant collections for both appreciation and botanical education. The site features 2.5 miles worth of walking trails through a wildflower garden with over 250 plant species, a bog garden, children?s garden, native piney woods, oak-hickory climax forest, experimental garden, and an open-air pavilion. There are also two greenhouses that contain orchids, tropical plants, and cacti.

The University of Alabama Arboretum is open for free every day, except during major holidays. It is also a part of the University of Alabama Museums alongside with the Paul W. Bryant Museum, Alabama Museum of Natural History, Gorgas House, and many others.
