The USS Drum is a submarine located in Mobile, Alabama. It is a Gato-class submarine launched in 1941 and was used during the Second World War. It got its name from the drum or the Scianidae, a fish family that can make sounds that resemble the beat of a drum.

The USS Drum was initially stationed at Pearl Harbor upon its launching. It also participated in a number of attacks that sank ships, and the Japanese seaplane carrier Mizuho. It also patrolled the waters near Iwo Jima and the Bonin Islands.

Decommissioned in February 1946, the USS Drum is now used as a museum ship in Mobile, Alabama. It was moved to its current location in 1969 and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1986.
