Also commonly known as the William M. Spencer III House, the Waldwic is a historic plantation located in Gallion, Alabama. It is specially noted for being one of the few surviving Gothic Revival residential structures that is still standing in the state of Alabama.

The Waldwic was built in 1840 for Robert Gracey. It was renovated in 1852 which gave it its Gothic Revival style. The property got its name after William Micajah Spencer, a former lawyer and Alabama Senator in 1901, after he married Gracey?s granddaughter, Bertha Gracey Steele, who inherited the house later on.

The Waldwic is currently serving as a US Historic District. The main house is also a part of the National Register of Historic Places after being listed in 1994.
