The Alaska Ski for Women is an annual event in Anchorage, Alaska. It was established in 1997 as a way to raise funds and awareness for the AWAIC or the Abused Women?s Aid in Crisis. This program helps prevent domestic violence, which is always a great cause to support.

The Alaska Ski for Women is also a very fun event. Being the largest women-only ski event in the country, this is also a great way to bond with friends, colleagues, or even relatives. Regularly held at Kincaid Park, the event has three categories (for groups of friends, relatives, and mothers and daughters). Groups are also encouraged to come in costumes, making it more fun, lively, and even creative.

The Alaska Ski for Women usually takes place in February, sometimes on the very day of the Super Bowl itself.
