The Carl E. Wynn Nature Center is a 140-acre reserve in Homer, Alaska. It is situated on top of some bluffs that overlook the city. It is primarily focused on educating the public about the native flora and fauna in the area.

Established in the year 1990, the Carl E. Wynn Nature Center was created after the homestead of Carl E. Wynn was donated to the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies. The late Mr. Wynn wanted the center to have it, as he trusted that the group will continue to take care of the area, since they’re already doing a lot for the environment.

The Carl E. Wynn Nature Center is equipped with a number of interpretive elements including a log cabin, a covered pavilion, and a trail system to help visitors get around easier.
